The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be the ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy. It will be hosted by Pakistan and United Arab Emirates from 19 February to 9 March 2025 and will be contested by the top eight ranked men's national teams qualified from the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Pakistan are the defending champions, having won the previous edition in 2017.
The previous edition of the Champions Trophy was held in England and Wales in 2017, where Pakistan defeated India in the final. Given the tournament's prestigious history, many cricket fans have been eagerly waiting for it to return. The Champions Trophy, which began in 1998, was originally played every two years until 2009. However, after 2009, the event switched to a four-year cycle. India was initially scheduled to host the 2021 edition, but the tournament was replaced by the T20 World Cup, which was eventually held in the UAE.

India shared the title with hosts Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2002 and then won again in 2014 in Birmingham, England.
